Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 26-week assignment with immediate start date available any Monday
• Call requirements include approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks
• Must have scrub experience and serve as first assistant to operator
• Perform complex cardiac interventions utilizing advanced equipment including OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, drug coated balloons, and CTO equipment
• Handle insertion of impella CP, RP, 5.5, IABP, manifold, balloon/stent prep and deployment, and pericardiocentesis procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R, OBMI (Oregon state license)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required with ideal candidates experienced in both Cath Lab and Angio
• Must be willing to float within site and across the system as requested
• Complete any assigned education within one week of assignment
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Must maintain sterile technique and scrub procedures
• Subject to low census mandatory cancellation with 1.5 hours notice

Facility:

This acute care hospital is a 554-bed Magnet-designated teaching facility and Level I Trauma Center. The facility features a brand new cath lab building with 7 state-of-the-art rooms equipped with Philips Azurion systems and western-facing windows with scenic views. The hospital provides dedicated private call rooms with showers for cath lab staff and has dedicated EVS/turnover staff available 7 days per week including overnight. The facility uses Epic charting system and offers free parking in unrestricted spaces.
