LifeBridge Health's network includes many field-leading experts in cardiology, capable of diagnosing and treating a wide array of heart-related conditions. LifeBridge Health has30 employed and/or affiliated cardiologists, with the LifeBridge Health Medical Group representing 22 cardiologistsacross General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Invasive Diagnostic Cardiology.
We provide the full spectrum of advanced cardiac care, including high-risk PCI, TAVR, right- and left-sided EP ablations, and extensive cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical services.
The Inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist will practice primarily at Sinai Hospital, working within this comprehensive cardiovascular program and collaborating closely with cardiologists, experienced APPs, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a cardiologist who enjoys the complexity of inpatient cardiovascular medicine and is looking for a predictable 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule with the support of a collaborative physician and APP team.

Job Summary
Full-time Inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist
7 days on / 7 days off schedule
Primary practice location at Sinai Hospital
Dedicated focus on inpatient cardiovascular medicine
Inpatient cardiology consultations and management of hospitalized cardiovascular patients
Daily rounding and ongoing management of complex cardiac patients
Close collaboration with cardiology APPs and subspecialty cardiologists
Collaboration with Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, Heart Failure, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care, Hospital Medicine, and other specialty services
Participation in multidisciplinary care coordination, quality improvement, and initiatives focused on improving cardiovascular outcomes
Opportunity to participate in medical education and clinical teaching
Strong APP support and a collaborative practice environment
No routine outpatient clinic responsibilities, allowing the physician to maintain a dedicated focus on inpatient cardiology
Clinical Responsibilities
The Inpatient Cardiology Hospitalist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care for patients throughout their hospitalization, including:
Performing inpatient cardiology consultations
Managing patients with acute and complex cardiovascular conditions
Providing daily cardiovascular assessment and treatment recommendations
Managing patients with acute decompensated heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, and other cardiovascular conditions
Coordinating care with procedural and subspecialty cardiology teams
Partnering with APPs to provide timely and efficient inpatient cardiovascular care
Facilitating appropriate transitions of care and communication with outpatient cardiologists and primary care providers
Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination
Supporting initiatives focused on quality, patient safety, length of stay, readmission reduction, and patient experience
Providing education and mentorship to APPs, residents, medical students, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Maryland medical license or eligibility for Maryland licensure
Eligible for hospital privileges at Sinai Hospital
Strong clinical skills in the management of hospitalized cardiovascular patients
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Preferred experience or training in echocardiography, including TEE, and interpretation of nuclear cardiology studies.

Compensation: This role offers acompetitive guaranteed base salary of $400,000–$600,000,dependent upon specialty, board certification, experience, and other applicable factors. There are additional wRVU and quality incentive opportunities.
