Capital Medical Group and The George Washington University Hospital invite applications for a full-time Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our expanding Division of Cardiology.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician with expertise in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care while helping shape the future of an academic cardiovascular program. The successful candidate will become a fully integrated member of our Noninvasive Cardiology Section, collaborating closely with specialists in Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Structural Heart Disease, Cardiac Surgery, and Vascular Medicine.
Our program combines the resources of a nationally recognized academic medical center with the collegial culture of a growing cardiovascular practice committed to innovation, education, and clinical excellence.
Position Highlights

Academic appointment at The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences
Fully integrated member of the Noninvasive Cardiology Section
Dedicated outpatient general cardiology practice
Inpatient General Cardiology Service
Inpatient Cardiology Consultation Service
Interpretation and supervision of echocardiography and nuclear cardiology laboratories
Opportunity to help expand advanced cardiac imaging services
Collaborative multidisciplinary Heart Team environment

Clinical Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care.
Interpret and supervise transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, and structural echocardiography studies.
Interpret and supervise nuclear cardiology studies.
Participate in the inpatient General Cardiology Service and inpatient consultation service.
Develop and maintain a robust outpatient cardiology practice.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiovascular teams across all subspecialties.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, program development, and multidisciplinary conferences.
Teach cardiovascular fellows, residents, and medical students in an academic environment.

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Level II or III training in Echocardiography
Expertise in Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC certification or eligibility preferred)
Eligibility for medical licensure in the District of Columbia
