Work Environment

This position relies heavily on effective communication and teamwork, as you will routinely consult with various specialists to ensure comprehensive client care.
Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to establish and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and therapeutic needs.
- Maintaining comprehensive and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and case summaries, to support treatment continuity and regulatory compliance.
- Providing immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute emotional distress, ensuring their safety, and facilitating necessary follow-up services.
- Collaborating with clients' family members and support systems to co-create discharge plans and facilitate reintegration into community resources.
- Communicating effectively with medical professionals to discuss treatment strategies and patient care updates, ultimately enhancing the therapeutic process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- An active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or an equivalent licensure.
- A minimum of three years of experience providing outpatient mental health services.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and standard office software, ensuring efficient documentation and communication.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills in a remote setting.
Preferred Experience
Experience in a community health or outpatient setting is highly desirable, as it allows for a better understanding of the complexities associated with diverse patient needs. Familiarity with integrated care models and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams will be beneficial.
