- Status: Full Time
- Schedule: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Immigration Status Considered: Accepts H-1B Candidates
- Compensation Package Includes:
- $100,000 sign on bonus
- CME days and CME Stipend
- Two-year senior track
- Work-Life Balance:
- 25 days of PTO, plus 7 recognized UPMC holidays
- Year three, PTO will increase to 9 weeks
UPMC Hamot Heart and Vascular Institute at UPMC Hamot, would like to introduce you to an opportunity to practice cardiology in Erie, PA, known as the Flagship City on the southern shore of Lake Erie.
Join a collaborative, high volume cardiology program comprised of nine non‑invasive cardiologists, six interventional cardiologists, and four electrophysiologists, supported by 27 experienced advanced practice providers. The office and diagnostic center are conveniently located adjacent to the hospital. Physicians work closely with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care. Subspecialty clinics, including heart failure, adult congenital heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and pediatric cardiology, are available.

- Call Schedule: Weekday call responsibilities shared between interventional and non‑invasive cardiologists on a Q12 rotation
- Balanced Role: 50/50 split between outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Diagnostic Services Include: This full-service cardiology practice offers comprehensive diagnostic services, including nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, vascular studies, TEE, stress and 3D echo, EKG, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI. All Non-Invasive cardiologists share equal work.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- The ideal physician has completed an Internal Medicine residency, a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship with a non‑invasive focus, and is board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and ability to obtain necessary credentials
- DEA certification
- A commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as we prioritize delivering the highest quality care in a compassionate, professional environment
