Work Environment
This position is primarily remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home office, while still fostering a collaborative atmosphere through in-person meetings and team engagements in the school facility. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough virtual and on-site assessments to identify clients' psychological and emotional needs, subsequently developing customized treatment plans based on individual circumstances.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to effectively address a spectrum of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including educators and healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and align treatment strategies to enhance client outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment modifications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources, support groups, and services, both in-person and through telehealth platforms.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The clients you will serve primarily consist of adolescents and young adults facing various emotional and behavioral challenges. Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
- Strong proficiency in telehealth technology and virtual counseling practices, including experience in relevant software and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to provide therapeutic services in a clinical setting, effectively managing a caseload while maintaining high-quality care.
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working with youth, particularly in school settings or community mental health environments.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed frameworks and crisis intervention strategies.
- Experience in conducting group therapy sessions is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
