Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required; 4-5 years preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Active New York RN license and all active RN licenses in good standing
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Ability to provide a skills checklist aligned with specialty experience
• Valid driver’s license with matching address information
• Strong critical care background and ability to adapt in a high-acuity hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and coordinate timely interventions with the care team
• Manage complex care needs for neuro, medical, cardiac, surgical, and trauma patients
• Operate and support advanced critical care equipment, including CRRT, Prismaflex, IABP, ventilatory support, ICP monitoring, and TTM devices
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Float as needed to approved units based on staffing needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established ICU protocols and hospital standards
• Support a professional, patient-centered, and team-oriented care environment
